$4,000 Sandwich!
Ever go to the fridge late at night and start making up a sandwich with whatever is there? Maybe you crush up some potato chips and sprinkle it over the bread. How about some sliced olives and pickles on top. Do you have a secret sauce that you will never divulge the recipe for? Well break out the video camera, cause the green stuff coming your way will be way better than lettuce.
The Vincent Giordano Corporation, famous for their deli meats announced their "Video Chef Contest." Aspiring chefs and anyone who is creative in the kitchen are encouraged to enter.
The $4,000 grand prize can be won by creating their signature sandwich using Vincent Giordano brand Premium or STEAKHOUSE Roast Beef, Corned Beef or Pastrami. A three-minute video of the experience can be uploaded to www.vgiordano.com/videochef between contest dates May 1 through June 15.
The five finalists will be selected by a panel of judges. The winning video will be based on originality of sandwich, presentation appeal, work station setting, appearance of participants, presentation skills an! d entert ainment value. The grand prizewinner will receive $4,000 with $100 Vincent Giordano gift certificates awarded to each of four honorable mentions. And don't forget to hold the slaw!
