Chi-Town Kids Concert at BAC

August 15th
In the summer of 2002, Mark, Chris, and Ryan started the unique music group called The Chi-Town Kids, taking the names “Swing Master M”, “Soul Daddy C” and “HoneyWell R”. They created fun, energetic songs about growing up on the south side of Chicago, incorporating their fond memories and creative ideas. Their first album, " White Boys Shmite Boys", was given away at local hang outs and bars, and, surprisingly enough, people seemed to love it. The combination of Soul Daddy’s harmonic vocals, Swing Master’s quick-witted rhymes and HoneyWell’s comedic verses were an instant hit. Since then, the group put out 2 more albums, “James Cobbins Where Art Thou?” and “Pottie Scippen”, with a forth on the way. Each album recognizes the heart of the Chi-Town Kids and their main inspiration - their beloved south side. These twenty-something year old Kids plan to continue representing their city and pop culture with humorous rap & pop melodies for years to come. They do it for the laughs, the memories, and the love for creating something special. Hosted by the BAC Young Adult Board.
