Song of the Week - June 30th, 2008

This text will be replaced by the flash music player.

This song was written, sang and produced by three Beverly childhood friends that go by the name of Chi-Town Kids. It’s great! check out www.chitownkids.com

SafetyTat - Temporary Kid Tatoo

What a great idea! Just in case your child gets lost at the water or amusement park. A personalized, waterproof tattoo with a name and cell number is genius! It lasts for several days. Check it out at www.safetytat.com

Waterproof Cast Protector

Another great idea! If there should be an accident at one of those amusement parks and a cast is needed (even though they say there water proof---they’re not) This is the answer. www.xerosox.com

Happy 4th of July!

On July 3rd

  • Downtown Chicago - The best! Spectacular display. Set to a concert by the Grant Park Orchestra at the Petrillo Music Shell, Grant Park. 300 S Columbus
  • Evergreen Park - Parade begins at 6:30pm. Fireworks at dusk, Duffy Park, 92nd & Ridgeway. (Personal favorite)
  • Palos Heights - Activities start at 4pm, fireworks at 9:15. Palos Heights Community Park, 7600 W. College Drive

On July 4th

  • Navy Pier - Awesome. Patriotic music plays while you watch the most beautiful display over Lake Michigan. 600 E. Grand
